Wachter Middle School Band

is our extra curricular ensemble and students wishing to participate in Jazz Band are expected to also be enrolled in 6th, 7th, or 8th grade Band. Jazz Band typically meets M,T,Th,F mornings at 7:20 am. We focus on building foundational jazz skills including improvisation, technique, history, and appreciation. The Jazz Band typically performs 4-5 times per year including festival performances
